Walking & Training
In the warmer months, we shift gears to offer on-leash walking and training services. Keeping dogs active is important, and we've seen some owners struggle with training loose leash skills.
Many dogs today are also very shy, nervous, or overly excited about the world around them! Reactivity doesn't mean that a dog is "bad". Reactivity can include
-
Barking at people or dogs
-
Pulling or obsessing over "meeting" everyone or everything
-
Being skittish or trying to "escape"
-
Lunging or nipping
Our goal is to support training that allows owners to get outside with their dog(s) and actually have a pleasant time doing it!
Our Services
1
Private Sessions
Are you struggling with walking your pup? Private walks/training sessions target some of the main issues with walking and staying active with your dog.
-
Loose leash skills
-
Excitement/reactivity
-
General manners
Private sessions can also be used as a way to exercise your pup while you are at work.
Private Sessions are time based
30 min $30
60 min $50

Group Walks
Do you want your dog to get out during the day? Our group walks are a more cost-effective way to get your dog out regularly. Walks are between 45min and 1 hour long, during which dogs are rewarded for loose leash skills, ignoring distractions, and being neutral around other dogs in the group.
Dogs will need prior experience walking on a loose leash (see Private Sessions). They will need to be okay with crate travel. Group walks occur regularly, with groups walking once or twice a week.
Group walks are $30/dog/walk (additional dogs at the same pickup location $20/walk)
